A big island with astonishing landscape is Iceland. It is colored with a variety of colors: blue geysers, rivers, waterfalls, emerald valley, black magma, red sulfur, fjords and bays. The country is strategically placed among Europe and Greenland. The official language in this place is Icelandish, but Nordic languages, German are also used. Republic of Iceland is located in northwestern Europe. The capital of the state and the biggest city is Reykjavik, where approximately half of the Iceland’s populace lives. Iceland consists of small islets in the northern Atlantic Ocean amid the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Ireland, Norway, Scotland and the island of Iceland.
People might question what anyone has the possibility to do in Iceland: from seeing whales to trendy tasty eating, climbing, watching Europe’s largest ice-stream Vatnajokull, fishing in rivers, horse riding, rafting, exploring the landscape on a snow scooter, shopping designing garments, Summer Solstice Festival, visit isle of Grimsey to traverse the Arctic Circle, come to medieval ranch at Stong.
One of the peculiarities of Iceland is that inhabitants here give thoughtful consideration to their appearance. They dress unceremoniously. To greet somebody handclasp will be enough. Tipping is not a generally applied practice, because service charges are included in the bills.
